Catholic AIDS Action - Namibia Catholic AIDS Action is Namibia's largest faith-based charity. The organization runs prevention programs with youth through BCC courses, retreats, radio programs, and materials development. The organization also addresses Namibia's growing numbers of AIDS orphans by providing registration opportunities to ensure care and support, as well as home-based care and support for infected adults. This organization is unique in that it emphasizes and encourages Christian values but does not exclude teaching about safer sexual practices, such as condom use. |
